It is easily accessible from Bhopal, Jabalpur, Itarsi and Pachmarhi. Photography in Bheemkund ZoneIt is a popular tiger safari zone. It is easy to reach from Bhopal (150 km), Indore, Nagpur and Betul cities. It is dry deciduous forest thus very good for photography safari in monsoon and winters. Teak presence is good in this forest and geographic condition comprises meadows area with river backwater and some rocky cliff. Popular Gutti Baba temple lies in this safari zone area. Similarly popular Churna rest house and Churna forest is also easily visited through Bheemkund zone safari. Critical tiger habitat of Satpura tiger reserve falls in this zone thus here tiger sighting chance are very high in post winter period to summers. During summer, it seem very dry due to which deer or antelope species sighting drops as they migrates to dam backwater sites i.e towards Madhai forest. Photography in Panarpani ZoneIt is unique safari zone for those tourists who are more interested in seeing different vegetation, hilly landscapes, butterflies, rock paintings. Here animals sighting is below average. Due to hilly terrain, we can have sighting of Sambar, barking deer, grey-langurs. Due to presence of specially designed butterfly park, it is different from other safari zones. Similarly here we can find declared rock-painting sites which is another important photographic point. Panarpani zone is basically for those tourists who are staying at Pachmarhi hotels. Photography in Parsapani ZoneIt is a popular buffer safari zone, close to Madhai entry gate. So tourists staying at Madhai gate side resorts can visit this zone. Here we can do morning safari, afternoon safari and night safari. Despite of being a buffer safari zone, it is dense forest in which we can enter through Pathai entry gate. Among Satpura buffer zones, it is very popular among visitors due to recent tiger & leopard sightings. During night safari drives, we have chances for jungle cat and sloth bear sighting. Photography in Jamani Dev ZoneThis buffer zone is for those tourists who are staying at Madhai gate side resorts. Here we can enter for safari, through Sehra entry gate. So while staying at Madhai gate resorts, we have two buffer safari options. Jamani Dev safari zone is good for birding, spotted deer, sloth bear, leopard, sambar. As per safari guides, here we have high probability to see rusty spotted cat, during night safaris. |
