Satpura Pachmarhi Tour

DAY 01: Arrival - Bhopal - Satpura National Park
On arrival at the Bhopal airport or railway-station, proceed for Pachmarhi hill station. It is a famous hill station and part of Satpura tiger reserve. It is a highland of Satpura range in Central India. Pachmarhi is basically derived from hindi language words Panch means 5 and marhi means hills. This area was in past inhabited by Korku tribe people who were cut off from main stream of world and living a self sufficient life. British India officer James Forsyth reached this place in 1862, during his expedition trip and introduced this highland to rest of the world. It was an exploration expedition and not any part of duty as said in many other websites. Here we can find ancient churches, cave temples, rock-cut man made caves, water falls, hill top sun-set point etc. Whole region is surrounded by dense forest of Satpura tiger reserve thus offers a true nature tourism experience.

DAY 02: Pachmarhi Sightseeing
In this day we will continue Pachmarhi sightseeing. Here list of sightseeing points is long thus we need to start our sightseeing from Day 01 so that we can cover all must visit visitor points. Many sightseeing points are in forest department area thus in order to cover them, we need to use gypsy vehicle.

DAY 03: Pachmarhi to Satpura National Park
After breakfast, drive to Madhai gate side of Satpura national park. This will be a 2:00 hr long drive. On reaching our resort in Satpura national park, just relax for sometime and prepare yourself for evening safari drive. After lunch, attend afternoon jeep safari drive. If you are not interested in day safari then you may try for night safari in Parsapani zone or Jamani Dev zone.

DAY 04: Satpura National Park
In this day, we will continue our jungle safari drives. Do morning and afternoon safari. If you have interest in night safari, then must try for it.

DAY 05: Satpura National Park
This will be our last day of tour package thus relax in this day. As per plan, start your journey from Satpura national park to Bhopal airport for departure.
